The kind words that this mom share with me after receiving her gallery solidified my love for in home family life sessions. I believe that documenting a life lived with children is important. I think it is even more important to capture how parents interact with their children, so that years down the road the love and fun can be felt and enjoyed again and again.
This family. There aren’t enough nice things that I could write about them. They recently moved to Pittsburgh from DC when dad got out of the Navy – lucky us, because they are wonderful additions to this city! Despite both having very demanding careers with hectic schedules, mom and dad are doing an amazing job of raising happy and loved children (with some help from grandma too). Little Alivia and Roman are smile-forcers. Not sure that is a thing but it is what I’m calling them. They slap an ear to ear smile on you face when you watch them explore their worlds, regardless of what they are doing. Alivia is smart, spunky, and a princess all around while Roman is the family troublemaker. He is about to start walking and is super cute while getting into everything… at the moment, house is on lock down! These children are so loved and the way they they drop what they are doing to snuggle up to mom and dad can melt a heart. I left their home feeling so very fortunate to document it for them.
