Mothers are everything to everyone, and that’s a huge weight to carry. But we do it. We happily do it. It’s rarely easy and so often a woman gets a little lost in the shuffle but it’s the most rewarding thing… to be someone’s mama. It’s a blessing and it changes life in ways that cannot be understood until it happens. What we wouldn’t do for our minis? I’d go to the ends of the earth for my girl and that makes me realize how my own mama must feel. It’s something that is passed on when we grow families of our own and at the very core is a love like no other.
Hold tight to the women who mean so much to so many and show them you care… every single day… not just the one that our calendars recognize. Happy Mother’s Day – to all the mamas out there and especially the ones who have allowed me to document the love they feel for their own littles. xoxo.
